Back In Motion Northcote is an existing site with a makeover. The operators were in need of a re-fresh to look at ways of improving their existing space. Corso Interior Architecture were engaged to re-define the physio experience. Our brief was to utilise the existing structure, improve air quality, increase treatment rooms and to re-invent the retail/entry experience.

Corso Interior Architecture were able to keep most of the existing walls in place, by carefully re-designing the utility areas we were able to add in an additional treatment room, this was an important driver in adding a higher turnover of appointments for the business.

A timber screen is used to create movement and interest behind the waiting area overlooking the gym floor where clients engage in clinical treatments. We wanted to remove the stringent barriers between retail, waiting and reception. In response CIA combined retail within the waiting areas in order for customers to interact with the products.
